• Gibraltar of the West. Tuesday, March 26 and Sunday, March 31

Come along to hear a story of great intrigue where 91 forts were constructed around the islands of Bermuda for two very different reasons! On our adventure will take us to 3 fortresses of great importance since the country was first established in 1612. You’ll visit Fort Scaur, built as a significant first-line of defence, for it has Bermuda’s most spectacular panoramic view to oversee all vessels coming into the islands waters, the oldest fortress ~ the location where the first inhabitants landed when they arrived and colonized the archipelago of 365 islands and finally, Fort Hamilton – adorned with cannons and military ammunition around its perimeter and a botanical moat.
